As a rule, a guest gets into a hotel room pretty tired from the road, often fairly dusty and generally overwhelmed with various road “impressions”. What do we want most from the road? This is probably why high-quality and sought-after hotel furniture is usually white or natural light in color: the feeling of a bright clean room leaves a positive impression on the guest.

And, although it seems to many that the white color belongs to the brand name category, this is not quite so: on dark surfaces, dust or lint is much more noticeable, if we are talking about bedspreads and upholstery of furniture. Psychologists say that the bright room makes us feel more cheerful and better, improves our mood, and this is exactly what the traveler needs. If the hotel rooms began to make out in thick dark colors, many guests would simply spend whole days in bed, not having the desire to do something or go somewhere.
